Background/Influences |
I graduated from Purdue University in 1996 with a bachelors degree in Mathematics Education. I've taught everything from 7th grade Math through A.P. Calculus. For the past five years I've been blessed to work in an environment where every single one of my colleagues inspires me to find ways to do what we do better.

My Style |
Being an older fellow, my educational experiences as a student were almost exclusively a teacher-centered classroom - lecture and notes. I can't think of single time I worked in a group, or a single time I worked on a project with other classmates. So...you will find me very actively involved in class, but more as a conversation starter and encourager. I love to have a DIALOGUE with my students! We do a mixture of things - cooperative activities, projects, spreadsheets, infographics, etc - and hopefully we'll keep adding more and better ideas every year.
